Perspectives

The Perspectives series is a look at Advent / Christmas through the perspectives of four different “characters” presented in the Gospels.

In this installment of our Perspectives series, we encounter the perspective of the magi, more commonly referred to as the “3 kings” or “3 wise men.” They make a treacherous journey to gladly worship a 2 year old. In this sermon we’ll see this was totally the right response, because this 2 year old was both their shepherd king and ours.

How Can I know God?, short post by Timothy Keller

In the second week of our “perspectives” series, we hear from Joseph, who was forced to decide who Jesus was when he found out the woman he was betrothed to was pregnant. While he had many reasons to fear calling this child savior and God, he had better reasons to obey, as do we.

Gabriel’s dramatic announcement to Mary in Luke 1:26-38 was at first very troubling and mysterious but soon changed to wonder, awe, and glad submission. What changed her life could also change ours!
