Reading through the Bible can be a great way to go deeper in your walk with God. On this site, you’ll find everything you need to go through Citylight’s Bible reading plan, including access to the plan and supplemental content to help you engage with each week’s passages better.  You can start anytime, and it only takes about 15 minutes a day! We’ve also included a few other Bible reading plans in case you’d like to try something new. Happy reading!

    YouVersion is a popular Bible app that you can use to access the Bible reading plan.

    1. If you don’t already have YouVersion, install it on your phone or tablet (iOS, Android, Windows)

    2. Citylight’s plan is available here.

    3. You can choose “Start Plan” or “Save for Later” to pick a different start date.

    There are several audio-only options for accessing the plan. YouVersion can play the audio for each day’s portion. You can also download the audiobook on iTunes.

Every week, we will send you additional content that will help you engage with that week’s passages better.  The content for Week 1 will come as soon as you sign up, and you’ll receive another email on that same day every week.  (e.g. if you sign-up on a Monday, you’ll get an email with new content every Monday).

ESV Study Bible One Year Reading Plan (YouVersion) – Includes readings the Psalms and Wisdom Literature, Pentateuch and History of Israel, Chronicles and Prophets, and Gospels and Epistles.  

Reading God’s Story One Year Chronological Plan (YouVersion or PDF) – This plan takes the material of the Bible and organizes it to flow in chronological order. There are six readings for each week to give you space for catching up when needed.

5 Day Bible Reading Program (PDF) – This special Bible reading system allows you to read the entire Bible (or just the New Testament) in one year while only reading five times a week. Five readings a week gives room to catch up or take a needed day off, and makes daily Bible reading practical and doable.
