This Advent season Citylight Church is exploring a few of our favorite Christmas words.
This time of year we hear a lot about peace, love, hope, and joy. But it’s the birth of Christ that provides with a true experience of peace, love, hope, and joy. Each Sunday of Advent we will learn about a different Christmas word and how the beauty of Jesus draws us into a deep experience of each Christmas word.
#ChristmasWords
Join us in spreading the joy of advent and Christmas Words, by posting photos on social media using the hashtag #ChristmasWords and then hashtag one of our four Christmas words (#peace, #love, #hope, or #joy). Simply take a picture of something that reminds you of one of our Christmas words and post the photo using #ChristmasWords and the #word hashtag (for example: #ChristmasWords #peace). The photo can be deep and meaningful, light and humorous, or somewhere in between. Don’t forget to make your post public and tag Citylight so that we can make a display out of your beautiful photos.
Reflections on Christmas Words
Throughout Advent, each week an article will be written by a different covenant member as they share a reflection on what the past Sunday’s Christmas Word means to them.
