advent (n.) - the arrival of a noteable person, thing, or event.

Historically, the Church has referred to the Christmas season as “Advent.” It’s the time of year Christians celebrate the entry of Jesus to our world as a humble baby. This year at Citylight we are celebrating King Jesus’s arrival by looking at Luke’s account of his birth and the promises that swirled around his great arrival.
